Poseidon is a so-called Water Coaster built by the Mack company of Germany, the owners of Europa Park. A cross between a Roller Coaster and a Giant Splash, the eight person boats traverse a coaster section of track (on the right hand side of the picture) followed by a small splash. The boats then proceed up a second lift hill, which drops into an airtime hill and a somewhat larger splash. This particular photograph was taken from the Silver Star lift hill, the only place in the park where a clear shot may of Poseidon may be obtained.
