Funland Park
Folkestone, United Kingdom

Rotunda (later Funland Park) was a small park located on the Folkestone sea front on the east coast of England. In January 2003, the land was sold to developers, to make way for luxury flats, a multi screen cinema, and a supermarket. The star attraction at Rotunda for many people was the Runaway Coaster, an extremely rare side-friction coaster dating from the 1920s. It was found in a field in Holland and restored by the park owner, opening here in 1997.
